Seeds were planted. The camp was great. GCU's coaching staff did an amazing job and they brought their athletes which was a huge addition to the experience for the kids.
We only ended up with 25 kids. Tucson brings 10 every year, but couldn't pull any together this year so we missed out on them. Prescott always has brought down 5 or 10, and they did not have a coach available to drive this year. There were also a few kids that signed up that just didn't show.
I'm not worried about it. GCU's players and coaches as well as all of our campers heard the gospel, received a sports New Testament, some food, and a T-shirt. It was a good day.
As with every event, looking back at it, I can see where things can be done better next year.
